Description

We are the Stephen Perse Foundation. Extraordinary things happen here every day.

So you think you may be interested in joining the Stephen Perse Foundation (SPF) community of schools?

Located in Cambridge, Madingley and Saffron Walden, our schools strive to offer an education which is more than just the delivery of the curriculum and qualifications; learning in a Stephen Perse school is about learning for and about life in readiness for the world beyond.

As Principal of the Foundation, I look to recruit colleagues who are passionate about learning; share in our commitment to educating ethical young people; and understand the critical importance of supporting the emotional and mental wellbeing of all our learners. If you would like a flavour of what this means in practice, please read my most recent blog.

Ms T Kelleher
Principal

Responsible to: Curriculum Leader of Visual Arts

Location: Senior School/Sixth Form, Cambridge

Role Description: The Visual Arts department is a small group of creatives who work collaboratively to inspire young people.

We work hard to create an inspiring environment where young people feel able to experiment and take risks with their art making and try out a wide range of activities.

There are dedicated five teachers supported by two talented technicians, as well as an annual Artist in Residence post. Almost everyone works part-time and we work hard to keep communicating effectively. The culture of the team is very supportive, collaborative and open.

We like new ideas and share good practice. We have a collective membership of the Tate and regularly attend CPD courses at Kettles’ Yard, exhibitions at the Ruskin Gallery and Anglia Ruskin University.
