We are dedicated to improving the quality of care our residents and tenants receive, whilst ensuring we create a safe environment that it based on the needs of everyone.

Harker House is our Care Home in the heart of Long Stratton where we provide dedicated care and support to our residents. We are looking to add to our fantastic team by recruiting a Site Support Assistant to work 11 hours per week on a flexible, permanent basis.

This role is a key part of our on-site team, taking responsibility for general building and grounds maintenance. You will have the opportunity to turn your hand to a number of different tasks in this role, including technical support, minor fixes and other handyman duties. 

You will be part of a professional, caring team and will contribute to the excellent level of care we provide to our residents by maintaining the site and grounds. We would encourage you to build relationships with our residents helping to support them and the team where required.

Your Experience:

This role would be ideal if you have previous care taking, site support or general maintenance experience and you would like to transfer that into a friendly care focused team. You would need to demonstrate; 

  • Experience delivering minor repairs and ground maintenance 
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging with a variety of people
  • Ability to manage your workload and time effectively
