Devon Norse are the collaboration between commercial services specialists Norse Group and Devon County Council, delivering frontline services to the public and commercial clients in the South West.

Our commercial catering team utilise local and fresh produce to supply a growing number of schools and businesses a diverse and healthy menu, and we are currently looking for a Mobile Kitchen Manager to support our service delivery.

This is a key role in providing cover and support to our on-site teams, both in times of absence and when additional service is required. The role will offer you diversity to lead and manage a number of kitchens across the area, producing a variety of meals in line with the defined menus at each site. Your input into new ideas for menus will be valuable, and you will have the chance to be creative and bring new recipes.

Our kitchen support teams will benefit from your experience and guidance, as you will lead food preparation, cooking and service delivery.

This is a part time permanent position offer 25 hours per week. Shift times may vary slightly depending on site requirements, but will generally be between 09:30 AM - 14:30 PM Monday - Friday.

Our Successful Candidate:

Above all we are looking for you to demonstrate a passion for cooking, demonstrated through proven experience working in a commercial kitchen environment and professional kitchen / cooking qualifications.

Your ability to work effectively as part of a team will be crucial to the role, alongside being able to build relationships with on-site teams and clients quickly. This will be highlighted by excellent communication and engagement skills

As this is a mobile position, you will need to hold a Full UK Driving Licence and be available to travel.
