Description

NPS Group provide specialist property design, consultancy and development services across the UK, employing over 600 professional and technical staff across the UK for the public and private sectors. A significant growth area for the Group is in the design, management and delivery of new housing with our public sector partners.

We are supporting the key residential growth targets of one of our local Joint Venture companies, Broadland Growth Ltd, a partnership with Broadland District Council and have a position available for an experienced Development Manager to lead the delivery and development of opportunities.

This will be a collaborative position where you will take a leading role in identifying, securing and developing sites for the joint venture to deliver residential growth projects. You will be supported by our expert multidisciplinary teams to ensure that we deliver high-quality projects.

Your diverse experience in the residential development sector will allow you to manage contractors, consultants and third-party stakeholders effectively and deliver a cost effective and sustainable programme within established timescales.

Our Successful Candidate:

This position will work alongside the Joint Venture Board and with other specialist teams, and as such you will need to have a wide range of previous experience and knowledge delivering residential works, both open market sale and affordable homes, from a project management perspective, with an appreciation of the architecture and surveying disciplines. You will also have experience in site assembly and acquisition.

If your experience is supplemented by industry recognised training, including Prince 2 Practitioner and/or Professional Chartered membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), that would be an advantage although not essential.

You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills and be comfortable liaising with and managing a variety of consultants and stakeholders. Experience managing full project life-cycle will be essential to your success, alongside your ability to identify efficiency savings and mitigate commercial risks.

Our Package:

Alongside a competitive salary to match your experience, all our staff benefit from a comprehensive benefits package that includes 27 days annual leave (excl. bank holidays), company pension scheme with life assurance, and BUPA health cash plan.
