Catering Assistant - Catfield Primary School



Norse Group are proud catering partners to a growing number of schools across Norfolk and Suffolk, utilising locally sourced and fresh produce to deliver a quality and nutritious service to pupils and staff.

We deliver our catering services to Catfield Primary School, and we are looking for a Ctaering Assistant to work on-site. 

As a Catering Assistant, you will be expected to support all aspects of the catering service, from helping with food preparation, supporting meal service and maintaining the kitchen and equipment. Our experienced cooking team can offer you training and development within a commercial catering environment, getting you more involved with cooking and meal creation.

The Position:

  • Contract - Part Time, Permanent
  • Hours - 10 Hours Per Week, 11:45 AM - 13:45 PM, Monday - Friday 

Your Experience:

Whilst we would ideally like you to have experience within a previous catering, hospitality or kitchen environment we are happy to provide full on-site training to the right individuals.

Our service levels are driven by high quality standards, and your ability to identify and meeting quality standards or customer services levels will be key.

Working in a small on-site kitchen team will develop your ability to work effectively within a team environment, as well as challenge you to take on more responsibility as you develop your skills.

All salaries for part-time positions are worked out pro-rata of the full-time equivalent salary shown in the advert, calculated on your contracted hours per week.
