NPS Humber represents the successful joint venture between NPS Group and Hull City Council, providing a wide range of services across architecture, surveying, engineering and property maintenance.

Our architecture team provide expert advice and innovative designs for a number of exciting projects, and we are currently looking to add a Chartered Architect into our Hull based office.

This role will challenge you to be creative across a portfolio or new build and refurbishment projects, taking responsibility for managing design projects from initial brief to delivery and completion predominantly across housing and education.

You will be part of an experienced multi-disciplined team providing full property consultancy to our clients, and so your engagement with stakeholders and colleagues will be crucial within the role.

You will provide guidance and design review to other members of the team and contribute to our culture of knowledge sharing and development of individuals.

Our Successful Candidate:

Your suitability for the position will be demonstrated by your combination of technical knowledge, professional training and commercial experience, highlighted by;

  • Professional membership of the Architects Registration Boards
  • Professional Chartered Membership of the Royal Institute of British Architects
  • Extensive experience within a professional architecture environment
  • An existing portfolio of includes Housing and education-based architecture would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of design software, ideally including AutoCAD and Revit (2021 Versions) with Enscape Rendering Plugin
  • Specification writing skills using NBS Systems (NBS Create and NBS Chorus) would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging and building strong working relationships with clients
