Wellingborough Norse is a successful and growing joint venture partnership between commercial services specialists Norse Group, and Wellingborough Council. We deliver several frontline services to local residents, including grounds maintenance, cleaning and facilities management.

As such, we are looking to recruit a Cleaning Supervisor to work on a part time basis from Rowan Gate Primary School in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

You will organise and monitor staff to ensure that high levels of cleaning standards are achieved in line with the cleaning specification and arrange staff cover for absence through sickness and holidays as well as covering your co-supervisor if required.

This is a part-time, permanent position and you will be required to work Monday to Thursday for 3.25 hours in the afternoon, as well as 3 hours on a Friday. This will total to 16 hours per week in term times only. There will also be 1 week per year where you will come in during the school holidays to perform a deep clean.

You will ensure relevant Health & Safety of all employees within your supervision and the effective and safe use of cleaning chemicals, equipment and machinery and as an good communicator, you will be comfortable liaising with customers and working as part of a team.

Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of cleaning equipment and techniques, will have previous supervisory experience in a cleaning related environment and the ability to develop effecting working relationships with customers and employees.
