Norse Group is a dynamic and fast-growing service provider, delivering award winning results within commercial services and property consultancy. Norse provide a range of contracted services to public, private sector and residential clients across UK.

Our frontline services are supported by a number of professional back office functions, and we currently have a position available in our finance team as a Business Intelligence Analyst.

This is a crucial role in providing financial and operational information to the business, and you will be responsible for managing and creating self-service dashboards utilising our Sharperlight BI platform.

Your business engagement experience will be vital, as you will work closely with Finance Business Partners as well as operational management teams to define information requirements and provide them as specified.

Your ability to identify opportunities to add value through reporting will help you support the business in measuring key trends and performance, helping users to extract key data and understand how this can be used within operations.

Alongside supporting the business, you will have responsibility for the management and security of the Group Business Intelligence platform, using your existing knowledge to improve functionality where possible.

Our Successful Candidate:

We are looking for you to bring a combination of technical understanding, commercial experience and personal aptitude to the role, highlighted by;

  • Good understanding or Business Intelligence Technologies, ideally with Sharperlight but Tableau, Qlikview or similar would be relevant
  • Proven experience developing self-service dashboards and reports
  • Ability to identify opportunities of improvement with data reporting, including the implementation of automation
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging with multiple business areas
  • Confident presenting data and reports to a range of stakeholders, including senior management
  • Able to effectively manage your own workload within a deadline driven environment
  • Knowledge of SQL would be an advantage
  • Full UK Driving licence to meet the travel requirements of the role
