Norse Group is a dynamic and fast-growing service provider, delivering award winning results whilst providing a range of contracted services to public and private sector clients across the UK. We run a full back office support function from our head office in Norfolk, including a Marketing and Communications Team dedicated to ensuring information is managed internally, and our brand is promoted to our partners, clients and the public.

To ensure our Marketing and Communications Team continue to deliver an excellent service to the business, we are currently recruiting an Events and Marketing Administrator for our team based in Norwich. In this role, you will provide support to the team as they arrange and attend events, engage with the wider business, and prepare content for our internal and external communications.

This role will give you the chance to work with an experienced Marketing and Communications Team within a diverse business, giving you responsibility for:

  • managing internal and external queries to the team
  • co-ordinating meetings, travel and promotional items required for events and exhibitions
  • supporting the creation of quality copy for case studies, literature and award entries
  • conducting market research on competitors and customers in line with Group strategy.

Our successful candidate

We are ideally looking for someone who can bring a combination of knowledge, experience and passion to develop a career in marketing and communications. This would be demonstrated by:

  • GCSE Grade A – C (new scoring 5 or above) in English and Maths
  • any further relevant qualifications (HND / HNC / A-Levels / Degree) in an English, Marketing, Communication or equivalent discipline would be an advantage
  • proven experience in a similar administration role, ideally within a marketing or comms environment
  • excellent organisational skills, with the ability to effectively manage your own workload in a deadline driven environment
  • strong communication skills, confident engaging with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • proficient in Microsoft Office tools, and able to pick up new systems
  • full UK driving licence as the role will involve some infrequent travel.
