NPS Humber Limited is a joint venture between Norse Group and Hull City Council.  We provide a wide range of services including: architecture, building and quantity surveying, mechanical, electrical and structural engineering, landscape architecture, compliance, property maintenance, asset management and land surveying, estate management, property agency, rating and valuation and consultancy services.

The Role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to be responsible for the design, specification, programming and project management of electrical services. You will oversee the installations for new build, maintenance and/or refurbishment works. This may include taking the project lead or working as part of a larger design team.

You are required to deliver Electrical projects in full in alliance with client’s brief and exceptional standards. Excellent written and verbal skills are inevitable as producing budget estimates, drawings, detailed service specifications, tender documentation and undertaking full contract administration duties are essential to this role.

Our successful Candidate

  • Professional Membership of the IET or Chartered Institute of Building Service Engineers
  • Membership of the Engineering Council
  • HNC/HND or equivalent in an Electrical Engineering related discipline
  • Holds a current CSCS or is prepared to immediately attain.
  • Experience in Electrical services design, specification and project management, and the maintenance of building services installations
  • Preferably has experience with and in use of AMTECH, AutoCAD, REVIT, RELUX/DIALUX, NBS Create.
  • Full working knowledge of BS 7671:2018 IET Wiring Regulations inc. certification
  • Understanding and knowledge of BS 5839 Fire Alarms & BS 5266 Emergency Lighting
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Full UK Driving Licence – frequent travel to sites
