NPS London are a specialist joint venture partnership between NPS Group and the London Borough of Waltham Forest working out of our office in Chingford, East London. We are recruiting for a Project Manager in order to manage, develop and oversee the growing number of tasks and complex projects within NPS London. The Project Management team currently have a large portfolio of project work which is only looking to increase as the scale of the NPS presence in the area grows. As a result, you will also have the opportunity to travel to multiple sites across the region.

We offer local delivery supported by national capability, with client services managed and delivered from our network of offices by our highly qualified staff.

You will be jointly responsible for the delivery of large or complex projects, ensuring the project is following the original design and that profitability is maximised. Within this, you will be expected to maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and clients and keep the focus of the team on the productivity, safety and cost-effectiveness of all sites. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring client requirements are met with regards to project design, overall programme and the construction or implementation of the project including change control.
  • Ensuring that detailed project and programme budgets, timetables and programmes are prepared and approved by the client and adhered to throughout the contract.
  • Monitoring and review detailed project budgets and programmes ensuring clients are informed regularly of changes and the impact of those changes.
  • Preparing detailed business plans of capital, revenue and income projections to support applications for funding and prepare applications for funding.
  • Ensuring that all client requirements are identified and agreed with the client.

Our Ideal Candidate:

We want you to bring your own unique mix of experience and qualifications to the role and see what you can do. Ideally, we are looking for:

  • Professional membership of the Association of Project Management or can demonstrate significant relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related discipline
  • Holds a current CSCS site card
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite
  • Extensive experience of building works of all sizes, including improvement and new build contracts
