Due to continued success, NPS Barnsley are looking for a Design Manager to join their team. As a Design Manager will be responsible for providing vision, guidance and direction to the Design team, manage and allocate team resources to projects and ensure development of all staff within the team.

You will Manage the quality and output of the Design Section to maintain and develop the design service to meet our client’s current and future requirements and achieve required profit levels.

Our successful applicant will hold-

  • Membership of the Architects Registration Board.
  • Professional Membership of the Royal Institution of British Architects and working towards or prepared to work towards Chartered status.
  • Bachelor's Degree in an Architectural related discipline.
  • Current site card or is prepared to immediately attain.
  • Experience in a similar or related role and have suitable references supporting this.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD and have experience in Revit/BIM.
  • Familiar with relevant construction, health and safety legislation and risks and hazards associated with asbestos.
