Due to continued success, NPS NW have a fantastic career opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Wigan.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for ensuring commissions are completed to the appropriate standards, within budget and the fee provision whilst ensuring clients receive professional advice and a high standard of service.

On a daily basis you will assist in the project management of schemes by setting objectives, providing direction and advice on related matters. You will need excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) as negotiating contract sums and preparing high quality tender documentation such as pricing/cost breakdowns and issuing progress reports is essential to the role.

Our Successful Candidate-

  • Extensive experience within a construction consultancy environment and be able to provide suitable references.
  • Degree educated in a Construction related field 
  • RICS membership or be prepared to work towards
  • Knowledge of latest CDM Regulations.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Be confident in providing advice on the use of whole life costing techniques.
  • Holds a current site card or is prepared to immediately attain
  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence – As frequent travel to sites is required.

This is a full-time permanent position and you will be contracted to work 37hpw.
