Norse Catering provide catering services across Norfolk and Suffolk within Education, Business and Industry and Care.

Using our extensive commercial experience, we operate bespoke catering services ensuring staff are well-catered for during the working day in an environment that promotes team commitment and dedicated support. From school meals and staff restaurants to sports clubs and business functions our catering teams have the recipe for success at every level.

We currently have opportunities for dedicated individuals to join our award winning catering teams as a Mobile Caterer, predominantly in our residential care homes across Norfolk.

You will be contracted to work 30-36 hours per week across 5 days out of 7.

It is essential that the successful candidate is flexible to working hours as you will be required to work evenings (up to 19:00) and weekends. A rota will be supplied 2 weeks in advance.

You will need to be an experienced caterer at Cook Manager Level able to provide support and guidance to others. You be able to demonstrate a strong focus on customer care and service delivery.

Duties will include: 

  • Assisting with the preparation, cooking and presentation of food to the highest standard.
  • Contributing to high levels of customer service.
  • Ensuring that best food practices and hygiene procedures are adhered to.
  • Kitchen organisation and management.

You will have:

  • Previous catering experience at Cook Manager level.
  • Knowledge of basic health & safety, including food safety.
  • Knowledgeable about the food industry
  • Flexibility in your approach to work.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

This is a temporary position up until March 2020 (with the possibility of extension on review)
