NPS Peterborough have an excellent opportunity to join the team as an Apprentice Building Surveyor. Our building surveyors help to ensure efficient maintenance planning and manage planned and reactive building repair activities. You will learn what to look for to ensure that building users are safe, repairs and refurbishments are effective, and that our property portfolio is compliant with current and forthcoming legislation.

You will learn how to undertake projects in accordance with RICS standards. You will also assist with the delivery of quality, client focused projects, learning how to manage the surveying process through data collection, inputting and reporting.

You will have:

  • 5 GCSE’s grade 9 to 4 (A* to C) or higher or equivalent including Maths and English.
  • 96 UCAS tariff points (2017 UCAS Tariff) or an equivalent level of attainment through recognised qualifications / or / have completed an Advanced Apprenticeship in Surveying or an Advanced Apprenticeship in Construction Technical.
  • Current site card or prepared to attain immediately.
  • Good numeracy and analytical skills.
  • A genuine interest and enthusiasm for surveying within the construction industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
