As a result of an extensive project pipeline and continued growth across our business portfolio, NPS London are currently looking to recruit a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team based in Chingford, London. This role will give you the opportunity to work within a multi-disciplined team of property experts, delivering innovative solutions across a number of new-build, refurbishment and renovation projects.

It will be your responsibility to carry out the design and management of all types of mechanical services projects, providing budget estimates, drawings, service specifications and tender documentation on mechanical led projects. You will have the opportunity to draw on the expertise and guidance from in-house engineering, architecture and surveying teams, ensuring profitability, creativity and client satisfaction across project delivery.

Our Successful Candidate:

  • Professional Membership to the Chartered Institute of Building Service Engineers (CIBSE), and a desire to achieve Chartered status
  • Proven experience in a Mechanical Engineering role, demonstrating examples of managing relevant alteration or refurbishment projects through full life cycle delivery
  • It is essential that you have Building Services experience
  • Familiarity with all relevant construction Health & Safety legislation, alongside knowledge of Standard Forms of Building Service’s Contracts
  • Experience working across our range of new build, re-modelling and refurbishment programmes, you will contribute to the design, specification and management of mechanical service installations
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, building rapport and influence decisions when required
