NPS Group are a National, Award-winning Property consultancy delivering high profile developments to a range of public and private sector clients across the UK.

Due to continued success, NPS Leeds are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team. NPS Leeds have some large projects in the pipeline to deliver particularly new housing and a large education project that may be used by NEC. 

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for ensuring commissions are completed to the appropriate standards, within budget and the fee provision whilst ensuring clients receive professional advice and a high standard of service.

On a daily basis you will assist in the project management of schemes by setting objectives, providing direction and advice on related matters. You will need excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) as negotiating contract sums and preparing high quality tender documentation such as pricing/cost breakdowns and issuing progress reports is essential to the role.

Our Successful Candidate-

  • Must possess experience within a construction consultancy environment and be able to provide suitable references.
  • Will be degree educated in a Construction related field - With a desire for chartership or current membership being advantageous.
  • Professional membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (Student or AssocRICS) and be working or prepared to work towards Chartered status
  • Knowledge of latest CDM Regulations.
  • Previous contract admin experience would be essential
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Be confident in providing advice on the use of whole life costing techniques.
  • Holds a current site card or is prepared to immediately attain
  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence – As frequent travel to sites is required.

This is a full-time permanent position and you will be contracted to work 37hpw. In return we are offering a competitive salary of £27,000 - £38,000 DOE and 26 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
