An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Structural Engineer to join NPS Barnsley on a permanent basis. As a structural Engineer you will be responsible to oversee the whole management process of Construction projects.

As a structural Engineer you role will be to prepare designs, calculations, specifications, drawings and carry out risk assessments for improvement, refurbishment and new build schemes. You will supervisor all stages of the works to completion. You will need to be creative, forward thinking and continuously look for ways to improve the delivery of services and ensure profitability. 

The successful Structural Engineer will have at least 5 years'; minimum relevant UK experience and be either Chartered or have the intention of becoming chartered.

Requirements -

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in an Engineering related discipline.
  • Hold valid site card or prepared to attain immediately.
  • Be able to see the completion of projects within/to deadline schedule.
  • Have professional membership of the Institute of Structural Engineers and must be prepared to work towards chartered status.
  • Experience in a similar role and be able to provide suitable references supporting this upon request.
  • Advance knowledge of MS Office suite and AutoCAD.
  • Driving Licence – Frequent travel to Sites/Offices.
