NPS Property Consultants, part of the Norse Group, is an award winning multi-disciplinary construction consultancy working with a growing number of public and private sector clients across the UK

As part of our continued growth and development, we are recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for our Norwich team. This role will give you the chance to work with a team of experienced quantity surveying professionals providing a full range of services on a diverse range of projects.

As part of this team, you will be responsible for a number of duties to ensure we provide a comprehensive quantity surveying services to our clients, including; feasibility studies, tender analysis, cost plans and full post contract (on site) cost management.

Your Experience:

You should have sufficient skills from a previous or similar role. Initially you will be able to work under supervision, however as your experience develops this will lead to running projects independently as you develop professionally, with support from our team every step of the way.

As such, we are looking for as much of the following knowledge and experience as possible:

  • HND / HNC / Degree (or equivalent) in a related surveying or construction discipline
  • Existing Student or Candidate Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors – RICS
  • Proven experience within a similar or related role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and CAD Measurement
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business and industry
  • A high standard of literacy and numeracy, and an the ability to think and operate commercially
