Norse Group is an industry recognised and trusted partner to a number of successful joint business ventures across the UK, delivering a range of services across commercial and property disciplines. Centralised in Norwich, Norfolk, our Group Support Services provide expertise across a range of back office functions, including procurement, finance, and projects & change.

Our Business Change & Development team is currently undertaking a project in partnership with our finance team, implementing a Purchase to Pay (P2P) rollout. To ensure successful completion, we are currently recruiting a Project Support Officer on a fixed term contract.

The Role:

This will be a varied role, giving you exposure to a number of different business areas as you undertake a range of tasks, including;

  • Collaborating with out procurement, finance and project team to ensure compliance with process, policy and usage through the P2P rollout
  • Engaging with the suppliers to manage their commercial expectations
  • Identifying, analysing and resolving potential process breaches in the whole P2P procedure
  • A number of further duties, including data capture, analysis and effective communication to the group

Working Arrangements:

  • Full-Time position, working 37.5 Hours Per Week, Monday – Friday
  • You will be employed on an 18 Month Fixed Term Contract

Our Successful Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a similar project support or business support position
  • Understanding of commercial transaction in a purchase to pay (P2P) environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of the business
  • A* - C Grade (New Grading Structure 5 or above) Maths & English Language GCSE
  • Capable of effectively managing your own workload, and meeting strict deadlines
