As a result of continued growth within the business portfolio, NPS London are looking to recruit a Senior Clerk of Works / Building Inspector to join their team based in Chingford, London. In this role, you will be accountable for ensuring the quality control and supervision within our contracts is of a high standard. It will be your responsibility to maintain an on-site presence and develop our already strong client relationships, whilst making sure that quality, timescale and budget and within scope.

With NPS, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of architectural design and construction projects, taking on new build and educational projects of all sizes. It will be important for you bring an understanding of these types of projects to the role, and we will meet this experience with expert in-house knowledge of the industry, and support for further training and development.

You will have

  • Extensive experience in a similar Clerk of Works / Building Inspector / Construction Supervisor role
  • Familiarity with relevant architectural and construction projects that we undertake, including new builds and educational facilities
  • HNC/HND or equivalent in a building or construction related discipline, or can demonstrate significant industry experience
  • Holds a current site card or is prepared to immediately attain
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of relevant construction and health & safety legislation relevant to the industry
