Description

Due to growth and expansion, Norse Group have an excellent career opportunity for 2 experienced CCTV/Alarms Service Engineers to join the Security division based in Horsham St. Faith in Norwich. You will provide multi-skilled Security Engineering services, predominantly in the social sector or local authority sites across the East Anglia region.

Reporting to the Security Systems Manager, you will deliver day-to-day engineering activities in the field including; Attendance at allocated reactive service calls, planned and preventative maintenance (PPM) works and various other project works.

Day to Day works will include - Installation and maintenance of CCTV systems, door entry/access control systems, alarm systems and software to our client’s specification and within the agreed timescale.

Our Successful Candidates must have or be able to demonstrate the following -

  • Valid CSCS Card
  • IPAF
  • Proven experience within the industry and an in-depth knowledge of Security Systems and industry standards. 
  • Full Clean UK Driving Licence.
  • Experience of Dahua.
  • Knowledge of IP networking
  • Working knowledge of Intruder, Access control and CCTV systems. 
  • Proactive response to situations with innovative problem-solving skills.

* You may be required to work away and be part of an out of hours call out rota to deal with fault calls.

You will be contracted to work Monday - Friday between the hours of 08:00 - 16:00, 37.5 hours per week. In return we are offering a competitive salary of £30,000 - £32,000 DOE, Company Vehicle and fuel card, along with great incentives and company discount vouchers. 

We must make it clear that a Security Vetting will be carried out on any employees who join the business. This is in line with current industry requirements. Security vetting involves the following:

  • 5 year full employment history check
  • Disclosure Scotland (formerly CRB) check (for convictions not classed as spent under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act)
  • 2 character referees
  • Financial sanctions check.
