Great Yarmouth Norse have a great opportunity for a street lighting engineer to join their division on permanent basis. To give you an insight, a fundamental element of GYN is their delivery of grounds and public service maintenance, aswell as being a successful asset management and property services provider.

As a Street lighting Engineer it will be your responsibility to complete relevant tasks such as; Electrical termination works, installation and maintenance of street lighting in Columns and Bollards. You will need previous experience in excavation, trenching and re-instatement of verges and pavements throughout the Great Yarmouth Borough. 

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following -

  •  New Roads & Street Works qualification (NRSWA).
  •  G39 Electrical Safety Training.
  •  C&G 2391 - Test & Inspecting. 
  •  In-depth knowledge of Health and Safety legislations including - Manual Handling, COSHH,   Dust ect. 
  •  IPAF
  •  Previous experience within a similar role and be able to provide suitable references upon   request. 
  •  Full UK Driving Licence.

It is essential that on a daily basis you ensure good quality workmanship which upholds company standards and complies with Health and Safety requirements.

You will be required to work Monday - Friday between the hours of 07:30 - 17:00, 45 hpw. In return we are offering a starting salary of circa £23,000 DOE and great business benefits and discounts.
