We are currently looking for an Apprentice HR Administrator to join the busy HR team based at our Head Office on Fifers Lane, Norwich.  

The Apprentice HR Administrator will undertake development activities and formal training with the aim of progressing to become a fully qualified HR Administrator. The HR Administrator is responsible for the efficient completion of the administrative procedures associated with the Human Resources department providing and maintaining a completely confidential service to the employees of the Norse Group.

Duties Include:

  • Issue Contracts of Employment and all accompanying documents to new employees.
  • Input staffing and other data accurately and timely onto the computerised personnel system.
  • Ensure accurate Disclosure & Barring Service checks are carried out.
  • Cover reception duties in absence of the company receptionist. 
  • Support the team in all administration and HR related duties.
  • Liaise closely with Managers and the Payroll department on appointments, variations and terminations.

The successful Apprentice HR Administrator will have: 

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management able to work to deadlines.
  • Previous experience in a business administration role is desirable
