<p>Here at NPS Group, due to growth and expansion our award winning division NPS Leeds are looking for an established Building Surveyor to join the team. You will be responsible for providing professional building surveying and maintenance consultancy related services and undertake projects in accordance with RICS Standards.</p> <p>As a Building Surveyor you will have a variety of daily tasks such as - Site surveys in relation to condition/building surveying, prepare specification drawings and carry out risk assessments for improvement, refurbishment and new building schemes. Providing Technical and professional guidance to clients, colleagues and stakeholders.</p> <p>You need excellent communication skills, coupled with an ability to form effective relationships with our clientele. We are looking for a Building Surveyor from a strong, varied construction backround as the teams work in a wide range of sectors including &ndash; Housing, Education, Commercial, Heritage/Conservation and Leisure.</p> <p>Our Successful candidate will&ndash;</p> <ul> <li>Have Professional membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and be working or prepared to work towards chartered status.</li> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or equivalent in a Building Surveying related discipline.</li> <li>Holds a current site card or is prepared to immediately attain.</li> <li>Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.</li> <li>Knowledge of the Building Regulations and other construction and building surveying related legislation.</li> <li>Familiar with current construction, health and safety legislation and risks and hazards associated with asbestos.</li> </ul> <p><em>*You will be required to carry out other appropriate duties to the grade of this post.</em></p> <p>The role offers forward thinking Surveyors an excellent career opportunity within a reputable company.</p> <p>This is full-time permanent position in which you will be required to work 37 hpw.
