An excellent career opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Senior Electrical Engineer to join NPS Barnsley on a permanent basis. NPS Barnsley are an award winning division of NPS Group, One of the UK's most prestegious property consultancys.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for the design, specification, programme and project management of electrical services. You will oversee the installations for new build, maintenance and/or refurbishment works. This may include taking the project lead or working as part of a larger design team.

You are required to deliver Electrical projects in full in alliance with client’s brief and exceptional standards. Excellent written and verbal skills are inevitable as producing budget estimates, drawings, detailed service specifications, tender documentation and undertaking full contract administration duties are essential to this role.

A key requirement will be to promote continuous business improvement in your field and identify new business opportunities.

Our successful Candidate –

  • Professional Chartered Membership of the Chartered Institute of Building Service Engineers
  • Membership of the Engineering Council
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in an Electrical Engineering related discipline
  • Holds a current site card or is prepared to immediately attain.
  • Extensive experience in a similar or related role and be familiar with relevant Construction related health and safety legislations
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Driving Licence – frequent travel to sites

You will be required to carry out duties appropriate to the grade and Senior/Chartered nature of the post.

In return we are offering a competitive salary of - £35,000 - £47,000 DOE, 27 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
