Description

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join the Kallidus Marketing team.  In this key role, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing strong and effective digital marketing campaigns, including using Search Engine Optimisation, Pay Per Click advertising, email marketing, social media marketing and other techniques. The role has responsibility for driving traffic to the website and generating interest in Kallidus products and services, at the level required to hit sales targets.

The Digital Marketing Manager is expected to have a well-rounded knowledge of Digital Marketing and keep up to speed with changes and innovations in this ever-evolving field. The job holder will also have to gain a good understanding of Kallidus products, infrastructure and databases. 

The Digital Marketing Manager will report into the Head of Marketing and will work closely with all members of the Marketing team, in particular the Brand and Content Marketing Manager.

Kallidus is a fast-paced environment, so the successful candidate will need to be comfortable managing multiple campaigns and projects within a complex and demanding environment.

Key Characteristics

As the Digital Marketing Manager for Kallidus you will need to demonstrate the following characteristics.

Performance-driven - Although this is a Manager role it is still a hands-on role, you need to able to drive results.

 

Able to demonstrate very strong digital inbound lead generation skills and a proven track record of increasing lead volumes and hitting targets.


Capable of working on your own and driving continual improvement in Kallidus but also working as part of the existing Marketing Team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

The role contains the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Pay Per Click, display banner and paid for social campaigns in line with the target volume of leads required.
  • Search Engine Optimisation activity for the Kallidus websites with a view to increasing website visitor numbers and goals achieved, month on month and year on year.
  • Create and manage link building strategies, content marketing strategies, and social media presences (in tandem with the Brand and Content Marketing Manager).
  • Manage email marketing campaigns and the Kallidus prospect database.
  • Ensure that the Kallidus websites content is up-to-date and refreshed on a regular basis.
  • Build on-page campaign pieces as webpages.
  • Develop forms, workflows and conversion mechanisms.
  • Forecast marketing campaign results and return on investment and plan activity at a level geared to delivering the required level of enquiries. Report on results and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Manage external suppliers including third party graphic designers, web designers, data providers and videographers, PPC and SEO agencies and HubSpot specialists.
  • Use Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and other relevant sites
  • Develop and manage projects adhering closely to deadlines and to budget, developing and revising ideas, and implementing projects
  • Keep abreast of digital marketing trends; implement these new technologies in developing campaigns and update current campaigns.
  • Work closely with the Business Development Team to ensure that leads are attributed accurately.
  • Managing Capterra and Microsoft Co Sell Partnership.
  • Understand and demonstrate the Kallidus company values with colleagues and clients.

Requisite Skills:

 

  • Degree educated or equivalent qualification
  • IDM Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing or CIM Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing - Other Marketing qualifications would be an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a similar Digital Marketing role. Experience of marketing Software as a Service would be advantageous.
  • Good working knowledge and experience working with of the following: WordPress Content Management System, WordPress back-end, HubSpot or equivalent marketing automation platform, Google AdWords, Google Analytics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Thoroughly organised approach with attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise and work towards deadlines
  • Enthusiastic with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills
  • Strong team-working skills
  • Ability to multitask and capable of dealing with multiple clients on a daily basis
  • Analytical approach to campaign management taking any necessary steps to keep activity and enquiry volumes on track.
