Having recently secured a new round of private equity investment, we are now looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Product to support our next phase of growth and drive our product vision forward.

As Head of Product, you will work closely with the business, technology and design teams to advance the Kallidus product suite in line with our business strategy. 

Your responsibilities will include:

Defining and Driving Product Strategy

  • Responsible for product direction, strategy and roadmap.
  • Developing, presenting and continuously communicating the product vision with a 3 year perspective both internally and externally.
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of the Kallidus target market, understanding the Kallidus proposition and the propositions of our competitors.
  • Working with the board to assist in key strategic investment decisions to ensure strategic growth, driving sales and customer adoption
  • Helping to evaluate the products of potential acquisition targets

Execution

  • Working with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment with external communication in terms of target markets, go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and key benefits.
  • Interface with development and design teams to execute on the quarterly product roadmap.
  • Know how to “get things done” and has absolutely proven ability to do so.

Building and Managing the Product and Design team

  • Recruiting, managing and developing a high performing team of product managers and designers.
  • Building and maintaining robust product management processes.

Culture and Evangelism

  • Building a product management culture that balances product intuition, design inspiration, market insight and data validation for creating delightful experiences.
  • Internal and external evangelism for the Kallidus suite
  • Attending key customer engagements, presentations, and RFPs and representing at industry events.

Key Requirements

  • Degree or MBA educated
  • Strong B2B SaaS product management experience, ideally 6-8 years minimum, with large global products/platforms
  • Industry knowledge of Human Capital Management (HCM) or Learning Technology market (desirable)
  • Product and team leadership experience
  • A passion for User Experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, winning buy-in and building relationships across the business and with customers
  • Experience of determining product-market fit and delivering products to market.
  • Ability to lead and communicate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, development, design and other departments
  • Experience executing product strategy across multiple teams, features, and conflicting priorities
  • Previous experience of integrating different products into a suite (e.g. following an acquisition)
