Description of Role

The Internal Recruiter will help develop and implement the Recruitment Plan, with the objective of fulfilling all Kallidus’ staffing needs.  Working within a small human resources team, this role is an important one to Kallidus as you will have responsibility for the full recruitment lifecycle; from sourcing candidates and initial screening through to the coordination of interviews, selection and placement.  An essential part of the role is to reduce the company’s reliance on recruitment agencies and maximise the use of our own ATS, job boards and social media together with providing support and guidance to our hiring managers.

You will have a deep understanding of our organisation, its employer brand, market and staffing needs and will promote Kallidus as an employer of choice with all contacts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establishing collaborative relationships with hiring managers, internal stakeholders and external contacts
  • Working with hiring managers to write job advertisements to upload to ATS and job boards and social networks in order to source high quality candidates
  • Sourcing, maintaining and continuously improving the list of preferred job boards and CV databases
  • Advertise roles internally and oversee Kallidus referral process
  • Screening CVs and performing phone interviews where required
  • Coordinating face-to-face interviews with hiring managers, booking rooms and sending confirmations to candidates or recruitment agencies
  • Administering tests and assessments
  • Following up with and tracking candidates and interview status
  • Work with hiring managers to evaluate candidates based on interviews, tests and assessments
  • Building and maintaining talent pools within the applicant tracking system
  • Compiling and maintaining a list of preferred recruitment agencies, together with terms
  • Serve as a liaison with employment agencies, colleges and universities
  • Coordinating and participating in career days/assessment centres
  • Reporting on internal placements versus agency spend and marketing conditions
  • Training hiring managers in interviewing techniques and best practice
  • Offering guidance around salary expectations, skills and benefits
  • Maintain bank of job descriptions

Required Skills and Experience

  • Degree level or equivalent
  • 2-3 years’ experience in an internal recruitment role or working for an agency
  • Experience of proactively sourcing a broad spectrum of Sales and IT roles preferable
  • Up to date knowledge of employment law relating to recruitment and interviewing
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to think creatively to solve problems
  • Highly motivated with a flexible attitude
  • Able to demonstrate commercial awareness through continuously looking for inefficiencies and sourcing cost-savings
  • Organised and methodical with a solid understanding of the recruitment life-cycle
  • Ability to work as part of a team, cooperating with others, taking and offering support where required
  • Highly organised with excellent planning skills and able to prioritise effectively
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage own workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
