This role is a fixed term, maternity cover opportunity available from 1 September 2021

About the Role:

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic class teacher, to teach in lower KS2, who is committed to providing a welcoming, stimulating learning experience for all students.  This role is suitable for both experienced professionals who wish to progress their career and NQTs who want to begin their career in a learning rich environment.

About You:

We are looking for someone who:

  • is a highly effective, passionate and motivated teacher
  • is committed to raising the achievement of all learners by ensuring teaching across the curriculum is of the highest quality
  • has high professional standards
  • is able to make positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents alike
  • is able to plan and deliver innovative and inspirational lessons that engage pupils
  • has experience teaching in Key Stage 2

Skegness Junior Academy, part of the Greenwood Academies Trust, is an active, vibrant and caring school located on the East Coast. During our last Ofsted, we are rated as ‘Good’ (March 2018). We work in close collaboration with Skegness Infant Academy, located on the same site, to continually create closer links and improve the life chances of all our children. Our lively learning environments reflect our engaging curriculum that promotes a lifelong love of learning.  We have capacity for 360 children at Skegness Junior Academy.
