Salary: £18,198 per annum (£8,499 pro-rata)

We are seeking to appoint a committed, resourceful administrator to support our school office. This is an exciting opportunity to join our ‘Welland Team’

About the role:

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact and deal with queries from visitors, pupils and staff. Remaining calm under pressure and the ability to deliver excellent customer service are essential to this role.

This role will include answering and managing calls, dealing with visitors and parent enquiries, creating reports, managing payments, photocopying, email communication to parents/carers, updating of pupil electronic files and filing. Good communication along with the confident use of IT is a must along with the ability to prioritise and use your own initiative.

The ideal candidate will:

  • be efficient and methodical in their approach,
  • have great attention to detail; checks for errors,
  • participate effectively as a member of the team,
  • have a high level of interpersonal and communication skills to be able to build up links and communicate with a wide range of audiences, including colleagues, parent/carers and professionals,

Experience of working in a school and knowledge of paediatric first aid training is desirable.
