Salary: £17,842 per annum (£9,965 pro rata)

We are seeking to appoint a Catering Assistant to join us at the Nottingham Academy – Greenwood Road Campus.

The role:

The successful applicant will provide support to the Catering Manager, ensuring that all catering services are of the highest possible standard. You will be required to prepare meals and provide a friendly and efficient service to all staff and pupils.  

Working as part of a dedicated catering team, you will need to demonstrate: 

  • Excellent hygiene and health & safety practices
  • Good organisational ability
  • First class communication skills
  • Experience in preparing and serving food, with school kitchen knowledge being desirable 

The successful candidate will hold a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate.  Also holding an Level 2 Diploma in Kitchen Services and having knowledge of HACCP would be advantageous. 

You will be required to work over the lunchtime period, Monday to Friday. Uniform and training will be provided.
