Salary: £17,842 per annum (£8,993 pro rata)

We are seeking to appoint a Catering Assistant to join us at the Nottingham Academy – Wells Academy

The role:

The successful applicant will provide support to the Catering Manager, ensuring that all catering services are of the highest possible standard. You will be required to prepare meals and provide a friendly and efficient service to all staff and pupils.  

Working as part of a dedicated team, providing catering services to pupils, you will need to demonstrate: 

  • Excellent hygiene and health & safety practices
  • A good organisational ability
  • First class communication skills
  • Experience in preparing and serving food 

The successful candidate will hold a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate, also holding an NVQ Level 2 in Catering and Hospitality and knowledge of HACCP procedures would be advantageous. 

You will be required to work over the lunchtime period, Monday to Friday. Uniform and training will be provided.
