A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an aspiring leader to join the Kingswood Secondary Academy as a Senior Leader of Science Development, from January 2021 or ASAP thereafter.

About the role

The successful candidate will provide strong strategic leadership to the Science Department, developing teaching and learning to ensure that innovative lessons are delivered to aid the attainment of pupils. You will also be responsible for developing numeracy across the whole academy enabling pupils to achieve their full potential across the curriculum.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

  • has a strong background in Science who can demonstrate the ability to lead and inspire others
  • is passionate about first class teaching and learning and about helping pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds succeed

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to access a strong CPD offer including the potential to work with nationally recognised training providers such as Future Leaders and the National College

The Kingswood Secondary Academy, part of the Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT), is situated in Corby and hosts exceptional teaching facilities, including innovatively designed ICT suites and purpose built laboratories, to name a few.
