Salary: £17,842 per annum (£5,128 pro rata)

Fixed term until August 2021

The role:

You will be responsible for the cleaning of the communal areas, academy corridors and staff areas, helping to maintain the academy at a high standard. You will ensure professional standards are maintained for colleagues and pupils to work in and prepare for visitors/guest and events taking place in the academy. 

Working on varied cleaning and housekeeping tasks in a friendly team, your duties will be to carry out cleaning activities including mopping, washing, ironing, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins and general cleaning duties along with preparing rooms and hospitality areas for events and functions held within the academy.

You will need to be able to work on your own initiative and have an understanding of the effective use of chemical and cleaning products in the workplace. Uniform and training will be provided.
