People Support Apprentice

Education Support Team

Salary: £8,295 per annum

This is a unique 15 month fixed-term apprenticeship opportunity to join the busy HR department, known as the People Directorate, of a Multi-Academy Trust. 

Working towards a Level 3 Business Administration Standard you will work under supervision to provide varied, high quality customer service and administrative support to the People Directorate Team. 

Your duties may include: 

  • Maintain paper and electronic filing systems in line with the Data Protection Act.
  • Preparing and sending out standard and non-standard letters
  • Assist with the logging and sorting of incoming/outgoing post on a rota basis.
  • Assist with the maintenance and administration of employee records, on People Management Systems e.g. ATS, Docusign, MyPeople in order to maintain the integrity of data.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers and service providers
  • Assist with email and telephone queries relating to Payroll/Pensions/general HR from current staff and members of the public
  • Producing adverts and placing them on selected job boards

About you:

  • You must have excellent communication skills
  • Have the ability to develop effective positive relationships with colleagues knowing how and when to draw on advice and specialist support.
  • Be able to prioritise workload and work towards specific deadlines

In Return:

We can offer you full training for your role within the Trust, continuous support with both your qualification and work tasks and a £4.30 per hour salary (£8,295 per annum).
