We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Mentor to join the Green Oaks Primary Academy, and also cover classes in the absence of the Class Teacher. 

About us:

The Green Oaks Primary Academy, part of the Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT), is situated in the Kingsthorpe area of Northampton. The academy, led by the Principal, Wendy Gordon, strives to give every child the best possible outcomes and opportunities by putting them at the heart of everything they do. They have a fun and creative approach to learning and the staff are supportive and welcoming, they aim to provide a safe, happy and friendly environment where all children are included and encouraged to achieve their full potential. 

The role:

You will be required to help with the organising and running of intervention groups across the academy and also cover classes in the absence of the Class Teacher; including unplanned absence and/or planned absence due to the allocation of PPA time.

This role is for 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday and is required in term time only (39 weeks); therefore this is reflected in the pro rata salary.
