About Us

Our academy was opened in September 2013 by the Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT) after a £13.8m capital build. Based on Reeves Way in Peterborough, the academy has quickly grown from strength to strength. A dedicated team of staff aim to help support every child in reaching their full potential. In addition to this we have been described as a truly ‘inclusive school’ at our recent National Inclusion Quality Mark inspection, not only have we been recognised as an Inclusive School but also been awarded 'Centre of Excellence Status'.

About the role and you:

The successful candidate should be a motivational leader with a proven track record of school development. Supported by the Trust’s Education Support Team, you will have the opportunity to lead the academy to ensure the delivery of first class educational excellence. You will work together with staff, stakeholders and Trust colleagues to develop outstanding learning experiences and deliver an innovative curriculum for all pupils in the academy. 

The successful Principal will be:

  • Professional and have the personal qualities to be an inspirational leader;
  • Able to motivate and support staff and be passionate about enhancing their development;
  • Resilient and dynamic;
  • Able to build relationships with colleagues, parents and pupils quickly and effectively;
  • An excellent classroom practitioner and curriculum developer, keen to lead by example;
  • Be accomplished in raising achievement as a teacher and a leader.
