We are looking for a well-qualified, enthusiastic, dynamic and inspirational English Teacher who has the highest expectations of themselves and our pupils. If you provide high quality teaching and have a natural passion for improving the life chances of our children then this could be the role for you.

 

About the Role

We wish to recruit someone who shares our vision that all pupils should leave with the skills to be able to express themselves creatively and imaginatively, and to communicate with others c#]0=onfidently and effectively.  As a Teacher of English, you will be expected to ensure, through effective teaching and learning, that all pupils are equipped to use and apply key literacy skills.

 

This role is suitable for either experienced professionals who wish to progress their career or for NQTs who want to begin their career in a learning rich environment.

 

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • is able to teach KS3, KS4 and KS5
  • is passionate about English and about helping all pupils succeed despite their background
  • has high professional standards
  • is committed to raising the achievement of all learners by ensuring teaching across the curriculum is of the highest quality 
  • is able to make positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents alike
  • is able to plan and deliver innovative and inspirational lessons that engage pupils.
