Are you an aspiring Senior Leader looking to help make a difference to the lives of young people?

This is an extremely exciting opportunity to work alongside the Principal and her team to further improve the quality of education and outcomes for the pupils at Rushden Primary Academy.

The role:

This is a very unique opportunity to be part of a forward thinking and creative team, with every staff member being talented and committed to meet the needs of every pupil. We are a caring and calm academy that offers exceptionally well behaved children, who want to learn. We believe in every child achieving their full potential and have a very clear set of SMART values that support the amazing work we do.  Do you have the drive and energy to make change happen? Would you like to be part of this exciting journey as we continue to develop and expand?

Having high expectations of behaviour is essential to ensure our pupils continue to thrive, achieve and remain safe during their time at Rushden Primary Academy. We would like an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual dedicated to life-long learning for all. Being an effective coach and mentor will also be part of your role using your well-developed ‘people skills’.

About us:

The Rushden Primary Academy, part of the Greenwood Academies Trust, opened in September 2015 and will grow year on year until it reaches full capacity in September 2021.  The Academy boasts a state-of-the-art building with a dedicated team, led by the Principal Liza Davies, who aims to provide a vibrant, purposeful environment for children to learn. They are passionate about helping all children to succeed, supporting their development to become sociable members of the community.

The academy works to ensure that all pupils are provided with a safe, happy, productive and supportive learning environment so that all pupils can reach their goals and aspirations. We use a range of IT, educational visits and visitors to complement the curriculum and broaden the horizons of its pupils.

In Return

Working for the Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT), you will be contributing to enabling every child to achieve their very best.  All our academies work collaboratively, to share best practice and are supported by the expertise within the Education Support Team to enable them to focus on improving outcomes.  As a GAT employee, you will receive excellent opportunities for career progression and access to bespoke CPD from the Learning Alliance to enhance your professional growth.

Visits to our academy are warmly welcomed; if you wish to arrange a visit please call us on 01933 201200 or email us at admin@rushdenprimaryacademy.org.
