We are looking for an September 2019 start 

Are you an aspiring Senior Leader looking to help make a difference to the lives of young people? 

This is an extremely exciting opportunity to work alongside the Principal and her team to further improve the quality of education and outcomes for the pupils at Mansfield Primary Academy. 

About you:

You will be an outstanding senior leader with a demonstrable commitment to help all pupils achieve their best through providing high-quality provision alongside a dedicated team. Ideally, you will have been a Special Educational Needs Disability Co-ordinator with a proven track record of improving outcomes for pupils who have SEND. Where this is not the case, you will be willing to undertake the National Award in Special Educational Needs Co-ordination within three years of the appointment. 

Having high expectations of behaviour is essential to ensure our pupils continue to thrive, achieve and remain safe during their time at Mansfield Primary Academy. We would like an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual dedicated to life-long learning for all. Being an effective coach and mentor will also be part of your role using your well-developed ‘people skills’. 

Working alongside the Principal, you will innovatively analyse and interpret data to support strategic decisions that secure high-quality educational provision across the academy. You should be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum.

The Mansfield Primary Academy is part of the Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT). The academy was judged as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in March 2018. As a team, we take immense pride in this achievement. We are a talented, enthusiastic and supportive team who enjoy working with our children. Our pupils are well-supported through a range of clubs and support staff to meet their individual needs. The academy works to ensure that all pupils are provided with a safe, happy, productive and supportive learning environment so that all pupils can reach their goals and aspirations. We use a range of IT, educational visits and visitors to complement the curriculum and broaden the horizons of its pupils.
