Salary: £18,562 - £18,933 per annum (£12,669 - £12,922 pro-rata)

Fixed term until July 2022

We have a fixed term opportunity for a passionate individual to join us as a Learning Assistant, on a part time basis, at the Stanground Academy   

The role: 

The ideal Learning Assistant will reinforce the excellent work of the teaching staff by supporting individuals or small groups both within and outside of the classroom environment as well as providing cover in the library when needed. You will be a professional role model to the pupils, with the confidence to challenge and the creativity to motivate. This role includes some pupil supervision duties. 

 To be successful you must have: 

  • excellent communication skills; 
  • the ability to provide support that is second to none 
  • experience of working in a school environment with special educational needs children 
  • first rate team working skills 
  • a professional approach and high personal standards 
  • First aid trained or a willingness to undertake the qualification
