Overall Purpose of Job


This is a permanent full-time position, working in a busy team of 8. The role involves working on behalf of clients to undertake a forensic analysis of costs, noting trends in data and comparing costs to legal documentation, with a view to finding ways to reduce outgoings.



Main Duties and Responsibilities


Main duties of the role include:

  • Analysing data
  • Reviewing cost variances within documentation
  • Ensuring costs are in line with comparable data
  • Analysing and interpreting legal documentation
  • Investigating costs to ensure they are recoverable under lease terms
  • Identifying cost savings
  • Reviewing sub-tenant portfolios to determine what costs can be recharged
  • Producing reports on findings
  • Requesting data from third parties
  • Negotiating with third parties
  • Identifying and progressing potential fee, cross selling and business development opportunities





Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience


Prior experience with service charges is preferable, but not essential as full training will be provided.


Attention to detail and good analytical skills are essential. The ability to multi-task and exceptional time management skills are also required.


·         Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

·         Good knowledge of Outlook, Publisher and Powerpoint

·         Professional telephone and written manner

·         Excellent written communication skills

·         Ability to work well both in a team and individually

·         PES security checks required
