Bus Driver Quality Monitoring (DQM) Assessor


Reports To: The Driver Quality Monitoring (DQM) Assessor, National Training Manager.

Job Overview: Driver Quality Monitoring (DQM) is a based around covert driving assessments of bus drivers when they are in service. A DQM assessment indicates any aspect of drivers’ behaviour that falls short of the requirements and expectations of passengers. Each assessment has a minimum of 20 minutes duration to it. Up to 12 assessments per day.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conduct impartial and independent report on bus drivers
  • Submit reports accurately using a dedicated reporting and feedback provision through electronic reporting
  • Report facts accurately
  • Independent time management.


  • Advanced driving or assessing qualifications
  • Bus driving experience preferred but not essential
  • Computer literate
  • Category D licence preferred.
